Less is More
Resist the temptation to add unnecessary records to your CRM. Growing your dataset is, of course, an integral part of your expanding business, however, the data needs to be relevant and usable. A clean dataset provides your users with a more effective environment in which to search and find the high calibre talent you’re looking for.
Top tip to help you – REMOVE OLD DATA:
- Build lists of Candidates, Contacts, Jobs etc. that have been added “some time” ago, haven’t been modified or had any action. Most CRMs will provide this functionality out of the box
- Configure fields to categorise your data. Perhaps a status of Archive or “not active”
- Archive/Mass update data in lists to the new statuses
- Now when searching deselect this data in your criteria
